Common questions
Before you order.
How does buying a toy actually help the cats?
The profit from Flying Bird sales goes toward the food, litter, veterinary care and day-to-day costs Millie's Rescue is carrying for the cats in her home. You still get a real cat toy shipped to you.
Is Millie's Rescue a registered nonprofit or shelter?
No. Millie's Rescue is an independent rescue effort. Cats are taken into a real home and cared for there. Purchases and added support are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
Does the Flying Bird actually fly?
No. It stays attached to its base and moves at floor level. It does not literally fly around the room.
What if my cat doesn't like it?
Cats are cats. Some pounce immediately, some watch it for a while, and a few decide it's not for them. If yours is in that last group, email Millie within 60 days and she'll refund you completely.
Is it loud?
It has a small motor, so it isn't silent. If your cat is sensitive to sound, introduce it slowly and stay nearby for the first few sessions.
When does it ship?
Every order ships the next business day via USPS Priority Mail with full tracking. The USB-rechargeable battery gives 3–4 hours of play and charges fully in 2 hours. Charging cable included.
Can I help without buying a toy?
Yes — add a tip at checkout, or email support@furryfoundation.net. Every amount helps Millie's Rescue care for the cats in her home.
Still have a question?
Email support@furryfoundation.net and Millie will answer you herself.
